Tech Elevator’s program is designed to teach you the necessary skills to become a full-stack developer and build a strong foundation in java coding language. The year-long program will cover several modules across 42 weeks, with a career readiness module at the end of the cohort.
Successful applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis. Seats may fill before the application window closes. We will maintain a waitlist for qualified applicants.
Our industry-aligned curriculum is full-stack, and it evolves with the needs of the tech market today. The result?
Students in every cohort enter the job market with the most up-to-date skills, honed by hands-on project work.
Establish foundational programming skills with Java. You'll develop an application that models real-world problems by the end of this module.
You'll write conditional code that can help make decisions, use collections to organize data sets, and leverage object-oriented programming principles for code modularity.
Learn about back-end development by connecting your programs with other applications to save and retrieve data. Learn to develop applications that use SQL to communicate with databases to store data.
Then learn how to work with and build APIs to distribute your data to other applications.
Learn how to build web applications with complex layouts using HTML and CSS. Then you'll see how JavaScript enables your applications to create dynamic, interactive experiences for your users through a web browser.
Learn about agile methodologies and experience collaborating on a team to build a full-stack application that uses the lessons learned throughout the curriculum.

Currently, there isn’t a program schedule. We will update this section as soon as we have new dates and information.
No, you don’t! But it doesn’t hurt if you’ve made some strides toward learning the craft on your own. A lot of our incoming students start learning online through free resources before the start of their program. But what we really care about is your natural aptitude, because when you have all the right raw materials, you’ll make a great programmer. During the application process, you’ll take the Criteria Cognitive Aptitude Test, also referred to as the CCAT. It will test your ability to problem-solve and think critically, which are important foundations for learning software development. Read through our blog post on how to prepare for the test.
