Our National Live Remote cohort graduates are made up of students located all across the United States. These students are typically open to relocating for their tech career and will entertain opportunities in various locations.

Let's answer some of the most common questions employers have around the Matchmaking process.

  • What are the steps after matchmaking?

    Tech Elevator’s Pathway Directors will be following up with matchmaking surveys to get feedback and the next steps. Our teams can be involved in as much or as little of your team’s hiring process as you’d like.

  • I can’t make the full day; can I come for part of it?

    Yes – We will happily accommodate your schedule. Alternatively, we can also set up another date for you to interview candidates.

  • This seems like a big process. Can’t you just send me some resumes?

    We can send you resumes at the conclusion of the event, but Matchmaking is the best way to get the first look at the talent that is about to graduate. If you need to fill a position more immediately, we can also send you candidates of graduates from the last cohort.

  • How much does it cost to participate?

    Matchmaking is free to participate!

  • Do I have to commit to hiring a student, even if I don’t find the right fit for our role or organization?

    Not at all. Attending Matchmaking isn’t a commitment to hiring one of our students.

  • How do I select the students I will meet with?

    Based on the information you submit to our Pathway Directors, we’ll pair you with the students that best fit your needs for interviewing. From there, you will be able to filter down the candidates that you interview to those that fit your organization’s needs.

  • Is this virtual or in-person?

    Our Matchmaking events are held virtually over zoom.

  • How do I register for Matchmaking on your website?

  • What is the difference between National Live Remote and Campus graduates?

    Graduates of our National Live Remote program are located across the United States of America while graduates of our campus locations are located in or near those campus cities.

    If you’re looking for junior developers within a city where our physical campuses are located, select one of those cities to ensure we provide you the best candidates. If you’re looking for graduates in any other city in the United States, select the “National Live Remote” program for the most appropriate graduate candidates to fit your hiring needs.

  • What if neither of the days available for Matchmaking work for our team?

    That’s okay, we’ll work with you to find the best time to get interviews scheduled with our students and can even get you in touch with graduates from other cohorts. Fill in this form to give us a better idea of how we can best assist in your hiring efforts.

  • Can my company hold our own Matchmaking Session?

    Yes! If our provided Matchmaking dates don’t work, we’ll organize a custom Matchmaking session to fit your team’s needs. To get a custom session started, fill out this form.

  • Do I have to do a Showcase to be allowed to participate in Matchmaking?
