Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP) 

Individuals who live in Ohio can use the Ohio Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation IMAP program to access funding to attend a Tech Elevator coding bootcamp, receiving awards up to 100% of tuition.

What to Expect 

Students will earn 9 microcredentials over the course of the program:

  • Programming Basics
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • Unit Testing & Exception Handling
  • SQL & Relational Database Management
  • Database Integration
  • Client-Server Architecture & RESTful APIs
  • Web Design & Responsive Layouts with HTML/CSS
  • Programming with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
  • Single-Page Application Development with React

These microcredentials must be achieved in the order listed above as part of the standard Tech Elevator curriculum during a single cohort. They cannot be taken individually, in a different order, or across more than one cohort. Upon graduation, students will receive a Tech Elevator Certificate of Completion.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

IMAP funds are awarded to eligible Tech Elevator students on a first come, first serve basis while grant funds last. To be eligible to receive IMAP funds to attend Tech Elevator, students must meet all of the following criteria:
