Chris has over 22 years of experience as an engineer and software developer in many exciting industries from industrial automation, embedded systems, and cross-platform software development projects. He has led large multi-national development teams which included traveling abroad to mentor and train international team members for rapid ramp up development projects.
Early in his career Chris was also an adjunct instructor in the Computer Engineering division at a local college and was a consultant performing industrial training to local manufacturing companies. After his time with industrial automation Chris worked at a high tech lab then spent his next 10 years focused solely on software development primarily using C++, C#, and Java in cross-platform and Windows environments. This included deep experience in client/server implementation and working on large concurrent development teams.
Directly prior to Tech Elevator, Chris led and mentored a large international team that created and maintained large sets of automated testing scripts that globally monitored a very large PLM system. During this project he was the lead Architect and Delivery Manager. He created two frame works for the automated testing tools and created a comprehensive custom client/server application in .Net that managed all the global testing scripts.
His diverse experience working in many development environments with dozens of languages and frameworks has honed his ability to rapidly absorb new technologies. This makes Chris an ideal candidate to bring the latest in market technology trends to the students he teaches.
